Westhaven Elementary School is a school where all children have a supportive learning environment. The school features innovative uses of time and space, self-paced learning opportunities and inclusion of students with special needs within the regular education classroom. Resource teachers and classroom teachers plan collaboratively for all students to be actively engaged in creative and meaningful lessons that support the state’s SOL. The staff is committed to the belief that the school exists to serve the child through involvement of the family.
