The Facilities/Maintenance Department is a part of the Portsmouth Public Schools Operations Department. The department consist of Facilities, Maintenance, and the Supply/Service Crew departments

Our Mission
"Working together to maintain a clean, safe teaching and learning environment of the entire Portsmouth Public Schools Facilities."

Facilities - All Portsmouth Public Schools facilities have a custodial staff. Our custodians ensure our schools are kept clean from top to bottom.

Maintenance - Our Maintenance staff consists of various trade workers and helpers who perform carpentry, electrical, electronic, plumbing, and many other structural tasks and repairs.

Supply/Service Crew - Our Supply staff oversees our secured district warehouse and the Service Crew staff delivers supplies, mail, moves furniture, and other items throughout the district as well as event set-ups.
